The AACL has been protecting and caring for animals since 1956.  It is South Africa’s second largest independent animal welfare organisation, relying entirely on the generosity and goodwill of the animal-loving public for financial support. Speech and Drama Evening at WSPS

The evening of Wednesday, 2 September saw our talented youngsters take to the stage in the Annual Speech and Drama Festival. All the parents and guests who were present experienced a heart-warming evening of theme programmes, choral verse, poetry recitals and an entertaining public speech.

Jones’ jump passes Pollard’s 30-year old Record

“Once the dust had settled on a highly successful and enjoyable WSPS 57th annual Athletics Week of competition, five records had tumbled. Congratulations to our five athletes for their impressive record breaking performances:

Sarah Jones broke a 30 year old record in the u11 Long Jump with a truly impressive 4.26m jump. The original record holder, Corinne Pollard (now working at WGHS) was thrilled to meet Sarah to congratulate her after the record jump.”
